4 20 Los Angeles, CA 5 star rating 05/13/2008 These guys are in my office building at Universal 2x a week. I couldn't ask for more honest, effecient service. If you need an oil change - they are there and you just pick up your car after work. If you need new tires - you just pick up your car after work. If you need more serious engine work - you just pick up your car after work! You never need an appointment. I have had a lot of work done on my car by Fix Car Now...and I've always been pleased. They explain everything before they do it. My clutch went out down in mid-city LA ... and Jimmy sent a tow truck to pick up my car and fixed it at his location downtown. THEN he even had a guy drive it to my workplace on the next day so I never had to deal with picking it up. Who else does that?! These guys are the best. 76 158 West Los Angeles, CA 4 star rating 03/07/2008 Jimmy is unbelievably nice. I've onlly had small things done to my car, at Fix Car Now, i.e. oil change, tune up. Each time I've gone, I get a $5 off coupon for an oil change, which is great. The customer service is great, and I don't feel like Jimmy gives me any BS. He just does what I ask, and doesn't try to up-sell on other items like the fuel injection, or blah blah blah needs to be done. I drop off my car in the morning (no appointment necessary), and I pretty much let them know when I'm off of work, and it's done, when I'm ready to go home. There was one time, where I dropped my car off in the morning, and let them know I was off at 6pm. However, throughout the morning, I started to develop a headache, and I had to go home sick. I called the Fix Car Now people, and asked if my car would be able to be done a little quicker. They totally accomodated me, and my car was ready by noon. Thanks, guys! I was talking to Jimmy one of the times that I dropped it off, and let him know how much I appreciate them being in the building. Located in the Capital Group building, on Bunker Hill, the corporate folks can get their car fixed while toiling away at the office. They offer work drop off too if you leave your car there in the morning. Had to get my window and motor replaced and they lent me a car for two days, I didn't even have to ask. Very convenient, Jimmy made my day go a whole lot easier. Very good communication and professional service. He quoted the price on the phone, told me how long it would take, and kept the old car part in case I wanted to see it. In the parking lot, pull a ticket, just keep driving down, way down to I level. Recommended, especially for the downtown folks. It's much better than taking some time on a Saturday to go the mechanic. Online appointments available as well. There is also a car wash, $15 in the same area, not the same owner.
